Kajabi's Branding Settings + Your Template
In early 2026, Kajabi added Branding Settings — one spot where you set your logo, fonts, and colors, and Kajabi uses them across your website, landing pages, courses, emails, and checkout. Pretty handy!
But it also leads to the #1 question I get: "I changed my fonts in Branding Settings… so why didn't my template change?!" Let's clear that up.
Where to find it
From your Kajabi dashboard, go to Settings → Branding.

In there you can set:
- Your logo and favicon (the tiny icon in the browser tab)
- Your heading font and paragraph font
- Your brand color, accent color, and color palette
- Your social media links
Kajabi shows you a live preview before you save, so go ahead and play around.
Why your template didn't change (it's not broken, promise)
Here's the deal: Branding Settings only updates things that are still using Kajabi's default brand settings. Anything that's already been customized stays exactly how it is.
My templates come pre-styled — that's the whole point! The fonts and colors you see in the demo are already set inside the template. So when you change Branding Settings, Kajabi goes, "Oh, this page already has its own style. I'll leave it alone."
That's actually a good thing. It means your pretty template won't get randomly overwritten.
Option 1: Keep the template's styling (easiest)
If you love the fonts and colors in your template, you don't have to do anything. Just add your logo and social links in Branding Settings so your emails and checkout match.
Option 2: Make your template use your Branding Settings
Want your template to pull from your brand fonts and colors instead? You'll "unlink" the custom styles so they go back to your Branding Settings.
- Open the page you want to update and click Customize.
- Click Settings in the left sidebar, then open the Style Guide tab.
- Find the font or color you want to reset. Look for the little link icon next to it.
- Click the link icon to reset that style to your Branding Settings.
- Click Save, then preview your page.

Repeat for each page type you've installed (website, landing pages, course, checkout).
A few heads-ups
- Custom fonts are separate. If you uploaded your own font file with code, that code wins. See How to Upload Custom Fonts and How to Remove Custom Fonts.
- Section colors might not change. Some sections in my templates have their own background colors set on purpose. You can update those in each section's settings.
- Always preview before you publish. Especially on your phone!
