How to Publish Your Template

You've made it yours. Now let's put it out into the world!

Save vs. Publish (the important part)

• Save keeps your changes, but visitors can't see them yet.
• Publish makes your latest saved changes live.

So if you've been making changes and wondering why your live page still looks the same... you probably need to publish!

How to publish

Step 1: Open the page you've been working on in the builder:

• Website Template: Go to Sites → Websites, open your template, and click the page.
• Funnel Template: Go to Sites → Funnels, open your template, click the step, then click Edit.

Step 2: Click Save.

Step 3: Click Publish at the top right.

Step 4: Repeat for each page or step you edited.

Before you hit publish, run through this checklist:

1. Your domain is connected (read this article)
2. All placeholder text and images are swapped out
3. Your forms are connected (and you tested one!)
4. Buttons link to the right places
5. You checked how it looks on mobile (click the phone icon at the top of the builder)
6. Your page titles and site icon are set

Website Template extras:

1. Your menu links go to the right pages
2. Your home page is set as the default page for your domain

Funnel Template extras:

1. Your steps are in the right order
2. Each form and button takes people to the next step
3. You clicked through the whole funnel, start to finish, like a visitor would

Changed something after launch? Just save and publish again. You can update your pages as often as you like.
